about

Rob Roper & Paul Ermisch Live at Michelangelo's coffee house in Denver, March 4, 2011. Laurie Lamar of the short-lived Rob Roper Band of 2010 joined in on backing vocals on a few songs. Paul and I played 3 gigs at this small, beautiful coffee house on S. Broadway in Denver in 2011. Michelangelo's went out of business several years ago. It's a live recording, with all the mistakes left in. Paul plays the Irish fiddle tune, "Rights of Man," during the Bipolar solo. I had forgotten that he used to do that! And I brought a keyboard and played my two piano songs, "A Special Request" and "I Miss Me," and screwed up on both-- which is why I quit playing those songs at gigs!
